Die Präsentation von Entwürfen ist eine der wichtigsten Kompetenzen für Architekt*innen. Dabei handelt es sich um eine hochkomplexe Aufgabe, die mit dem Entwurfsprozess selbst in engem Zusammenhang steht. Im direkten Anschluss an die Inhalte der Vorlesung "Einführung in die Architekturkommunikation" werden wir in diesem Seminar die Grundlagen einer überzeugenden Präsentation theoretisch erarbeiten und praktisch einüben: Die Entwicklung einer spannenden narrativen Struktur, stringente visuelle und verbale Argumentation, Optimierung visueller Darstellungsformate, Formulierung starker Botschaften und ein präzises Audience Design.

Show Them What You Got. Convincing Design Presentation

Design presentation is one of the most important skills for architects. It is a  highly complex task that is closely related to the design process itself. Directly following the contents of the lecture „Introduction to Architectural Communication“, in this seminar we will theoretically develop and practically practise the basics of a convincing presentation: The development of a exciting narrative structure, stringent visual and verbal argumentation, optimisation of visual presentation formats, formulation of strong messages and a precise audience design.

Die Vertiefung wird in enger Abstimmung mit dem Entwurf der Frage nachgehen, wie die gewünschte Öffnung der Kunsthalle für ein breites Publikum und die zukünftige Stadtgesellschaft gelingen kann.
Welche architektonischen Mittel stehen zur Verfügung, um Offenheit für Austausch und Diskurs sicht- und
erlebbar zu machen und die neuen Nutzungsmöglichkeiten mit dem Kontext zu verzahnen und weithin ausstrahlen zu lassen? Die Veranstaltung kann nur im Zusammenhang mit dem dazugehörigen Entwurf 1720601 gewählt werden und ist für die Teilnehmenden obligatorisch.

Karlsruhe.Art.Court. Advanced Communicative Design Studies

The in-depth study course will examine, in close coordination with the design studio, how the desired opening of the Kunsthalle to a broad audience and future urban society can be successfully achieved.
What architectural means are available to make openness to exchange and discourse visible and tangible, to interlink the new opportunities for use with the context, and allow them to radiate far and wide? Attending the course is only possible for participants of the corresponding design project 1720601 and for these it is mandatory.
